Do I Have to Have a Credit Card to Rent a Vehicle?

Yes, you do have to have a credit card, and in your own name. All charges and deposits will be made to the renter’s credit card.

Do You Charge for Mileage?

All our locations offer unlimited mileage for non-commercial vehicles.

Can Others Drive the Vehicle I Rent?

Only if they are listed on the contract. To add additional drivers the agents would have to see the driver’s license of each person to be listed. There would be a charge of $10.00 per day per additional driver. Remember they must meet our requirements to rent.

Is insurance included in the rent?

Collision Damage Waiver can be added at an additional cost. Liability Coverage is mandatory for all rental vehicles and included in the rate.

*Personal and credit card insurance does not cover golf carts. For your convenience, CDW coverage is included in the rate.

Should I rent a golf cart?

Golf Carts are safe to drive to and from town and main beaches like Flamenco and Tamarindo. It is not advised to rent a golf cart with children under 12 years old and prohibited if the child requires the use of a car seat.

Will You Place Charges on My Credit Card When I Make a Reservation?

Yes. We make a $50.00 reservation deposit which will be credited towards your rental. The deposit is not refundable or transferable.

Do You Provide Complimentary Pick-up and Drop-off?

Transportation to and from our main office. Pick-up and drop-off services are only available for the drivers. Our shuttle leaves from our office every hour. Our last complimentary shuttle leaves at 4:00 pm every day. Shuttle only provides transportation to the ferry terminal.
